The AAF ( The Alliance of American Football), was a league full of hope and promises that it couldn’t fulfill. the league that was once thought of as a league that would play little brother and help players renew their football careers is suspending everything around the league before even finishing its inaugural season. The league that was once destined for greatness might not have been so magical on the inside as opposed to what we saw on the outside. It was reported that teams were having players schedule their own travel arrangements to get to away games and having to pay for their own hotel rooms.
Former Texas A&M QB and browns QB Johny manziel came out publicly telling players, “don’t be surprised if your last paycheck was your last”. So obviously Johny football knows a lot more than everyone else does right now. There is not much coming out right now on why the league is done before it even reached half of its potential but, it definitely was the first other league to maybe have a chance to give the NFL a chance.
The AAF had many great ideas that the NFL will probably be trying to start working on in the near future. Its pretty safe to say that we wish the league and everyone involved the best and the AAF will for sure be missed.
