NFL free-Agency is definitely one of the most exciting times of the year for the football world. It is the time where anything can happen and alter who is in power every division. It is a time when most trades take place in the league and that teams can pick up anyone who isn’t on a roster if they have 1. the roster space for them and 2. if they have the cap space and can afford to play the player. Now in recent years the NCAA hasn’t had a way for players to openly say they wanted to leave and the rule was if you wanted to transfer you’d have to be released by your school and sometimes wait a year to contact others depending on the situation. Now with the portal athletes have to ask their school to put their name in and they are allowed to reach out to the school of their choice. Because of this new tool there has been many college football athletes putting their names in looking for any new opportunities. Many put their names in waiting for some to happen while others like big name Georgia quarterback just sit back and watch big name colleges make their bid to try to bring in the nationally known athlete.
